We Fit Perfectly
Our quite contented contours pause,
as they consider every curve and angle.
Precisely connected lips persist,
interlocking legs soulfully tangle.
Each unique artistic piece,
extensively examined, put lovingly in place.
Puzzled pictures are forever perfect,
when sweethearts passionately embrace.
A note from Chris
I began writing this poem over 6 months ago and it has been marinating for a while. I started thinking about how there can be so many possible shapes of pieces in a jigsaw puzzle!
