Tango Two to Rio

Tango Two to Rio

On a not so shameless beach

dancing ‘neath the Rio moon.

The salty air and ocean breeze

teases sweet, our hearts commune.

Two lovers tango playfully,

hot latin beats entice.

An exotic tropic night,

so let’s paso doble twice.

Hypnotic hips delight,

we perfect some samba spice.

Admiring eager eyes connect

as we mambo so precise.

  1. Ah the heat in dance…so romantic and sensual…Nice to hear you read it.

  2. I could almost feel the heat on the breeze!

  3. Love this. I’ve been watching Dancing with the stars…so many great Tangos.

    • Ayala, for sure – I would over-dose on DWTS if I possibly could! Thanks for your quick-step, no-jive, boogie down comments and taking the time to visit my blog today!

  4. heh i am all for latin beats on the beach….nice sensuality in this one sir….

    • Thanks Brian, for hangin’ close this year and being so supportive! I am still trying to get my writing focus (mojo!) back after these last 4 months… and things are improving a little bit. I am grateful.

  5. I love this! Dancing lovers on the beach. So sweet. Thanks again, Chris for sharing your poems.

    • Thanks Millie, As always you are forever so complimentary! “Dancing lovers” or “lovers dancing” all work for me! So glad that works for you too!
