  Inconsolable

      moment by moment

anguishing

for my true love

whose absence does not

  this day

momentous make

every familiar feature

distant

          for you are too far

             away from me

don’t leave me in this agony

  and damn

  this sorry

 inconsolable state

A note from Chris

Pain and anguish!  We have probably all felt it, suffered through and hopefully moved past it!  When a loved one or that special someone is physically or emotionally distant there is no worse state of mind!  Thanks to Trey Ratcliff for permission to use this image entitled “The End of the World”, www.stuckincustoms.com

    • Brian, thanks for tracking me down on this one. As a newbie ~ I am never too certain with the free verse if I am making that all important “connection”. Sometimes I have trouble with the less is more concept most likely! I always appreciate your feedback!
