You Kissed Me First
We weren’t looking for a spark,
just talking sweetly in the park.
A joke, a smile, a moonlit glance—
and then suddenly, a chance.
You leaned in shy, like testing fate,
a heartbeat early, or maybe late.
I didn’t breathe, I couldn’t speak—
my knees went soft, my voice went weak.
You kissed me first, and time stood still,
the world forgot its spinning wheel.
A spark, a hush, a stolen thrill,
young love, a flame we still feel.
That single kiss begins our song,
a harmony that plays lifelong.
Each note still whispers, clear and true,
a timeless melody of me and you.
Now every glance feels like that night,
when stars leaned in to share their light.
A moment held as hearts embrace,
forever etched in time and space.
