Celestial Wonder
This night displayed for only two,
as constellations came in view.
Cassiopeia, poised and wise,
Orion reflecting in your eyes.
We watched these stars in younger days,
as their shimmer held our silent gaze.
This same bright map still guides me through,
each spark of light still shines on you.
We’d trace the stars and give them names,
inventing myths and timeless games.
Your laughter spins through midnight blue,
you’re still dancing in the world we knew.
The stars don’t speak, yet still they say,
what words could never quite convey.
They echo back the life we knew,
in stardust soft, as I dream of you.
