I Thank My Lucky Star

“Our lucky stars determined,
and they probably had a clue,
that it would take some extra time for me
to find my way to you!”

“On a not so shameless beach
dancing ‘neath the Rio moon.
The salty air and ocean breeze
teases sweet, our hearts commune.”

“Every sense in me takes notice,
your smiling face constantly aglow,
how radiant your form
you just don’t realize, you must not know.”

“Unbelievable the sight,
those looking up that day,
so many steps to climb,
such brave response, too little time.”

“Magnetically attracted, eagerly engaged,
our bodies committed,
wanting to occupy
the same cozy space.”

“And so it happens,
an innocent glance,
naturally a smile,
spontaneous rapport.”

“The wine and cheese patiently await their fate,
as we explore the possibilities
and just how well we both relate.”

of your heart as we embrace,
