You seem to have captured the eternal hope of true lovers everywhere. An unhappily married woman of my acquaintence, when told of my intent to marry my now-wife, once sent me a “Lovers’ Kaleidoscope.” You can both look into it from the two ends at the same time, but you each see a different image. That was her less optimistic view of the “perfect” understanding between those in love. I share the hope of your happier view!
